This story starts with Zane going out for a run just after his school year ends. He is attacked by a creature and is knocked into the way of a car, which saves his life, but also causes other issues, and he is placed in a medically induced coma, during which his parents are killed and his younger sister injured.

This story is of him finding his place in the Mac Tire' Dona Pack, where his uncle is a member, and coming to terms that he is now a werewolf.

Timeline has this story in 2015.

This story does overlap and tie into A Pregnancy Story, and Zane's issue is referenced in Wolf Tech 3 - The Alphas (Chapter 7).
