This story starts about 10,000 BCE and starts with the pride of Snow Leopards, and the leader has found her mate in a Wolf, and the two groups merged. They had travelled from Asia over the landbridge into North America, and had moved south. This Pride had settled in an area that they weren't aware was a Volcanic field.

Over the first 3 chapters, this story jumps through time almost up to present.

Starting with the 4th chapter, it stays in the present.
